The Progressive Farmers of Haryana State and Department of Agriculture and Horticulture Department will set up ‘Kisan Mitra Club’ for 17 lakh farmers of the state. Under the Kisan Mitra Yojana, farmers will not only be sensitized about new crops, new technology, agriculture and hybrid seeds and equipments, but also in increasing the income of farmers. Under the Kisan Mitra Yojana, a Kisan Mitra Club will be set up on a group of 100 farmers.

Kisan Mitra Yojana Aim
Kisan Mitra Yojana has been launched to motivate small farmers of Haryana state for agriculture, animal husbandry, dairying, horticulture. Through the Kisan Mitra Yojana, farmers will be benefited from agriculture as well as animal husbandry, dairying, horticulture and other allied sectors. An additional grant of Rs. 15 crore to Haryana will be received by the State Government through the Kisban Mitra scheme. The main objective of Kisan Mitra Yojana 2020 is to make the farmers of the state self-reliant and empowered.
The state Government has also launched the Kisan Mitra Yojana to develop the animal husbandry sector. The farmers have also announced the launch of animal husbandry credit card scheme for milk production work. To provide benefits of all the schemes being run by the Government to farmers with two acres or less of land under Kisan Mitra Yojana.
