HDFC Bank customers! If you are a customer of HDFC Bank, then there is important news for you. On February 8, from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM, lakhs of customers of the bank will have trouble taking advantage of UPI service.
HDFC Bank customers! Sending and receiving money through Unified Payments Interface i.e. UPI in the country has made our life very easy. People pay from grocery to vegetable vendors through UPI. Now UPI payment is being used in many countries of the world as well. At the same time, the country’s largest private bank HDFC Bank has given an information regarding UPI transaction.
HDFC Bank has issued an alert for its lakhs of customers. The bank has said that due to system maintenance, UPI service will not work for a few hours on February 8, 2025. The bank said that UPI services will not work from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM on February 8. During this time, the customers of the bank will not be able to send money to anyone through UPI.
UPI payment will not be available even with RuPay Credit Card
According to the bank, during this downtime period, financial and non-financial UPI transactions will not be available through HDFC Bank’s current and savings accounts as well as RuPay Credit Card.
What is UPI
For digital payment, a facility like UPI allows you to transfer money easily from home. For this, you need UPI supporting apps like Paytm, PhonePe, Bhim, GooglePay etc. The special thing is that UPI allows you to transfer money even if you have only one information from scanner, mobile number, UPI ID. You can also make UPI payment from a phone / feature phone with UPI 123Pay button.
