Heavy Rain Alert: India’s Meteorological Department has issued a major alert on the weather. You need to be very careful. There is an alert of heavy rain and snowfall.
Heavy Rain Alert: There may be rain and snowfall along with thunder in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Muzaffarabad. Snowfall along with rain is also expected in Uttarakhand.
There is a possibility of thunder and rain in Haryana and Chandigarh. Along with rain, hailstorms may also occur and strong winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
A new Western Disturbance may affect the western Himalayan region from March 9, 2025. Due to this, there will be very heavy rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
A cyclonic circulation is located over northeastern Assam and neighbourhood in the lower tropospheric levels. Due to this, very heavy rains may occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Heatwave Alert is expected in different parts of Coastal Karnataka. The weather may remain hot and humid in Konkan and Goa till March 6.
