Weather Update Latest News: Western Disturbance is in the form of a cyclonic circulation in northern Pakistan and its surrounding areas. Due to this, there may be rain and snowfall along with thunder in Uttarakhand. There may also be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.
According to the India Meteorological Department, from March 9, 2025, another Western Disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan region, due to which the weather may change again on March 9 and 10.
A cyclonic circulation is also formed at the lower tropospheric level over northeastern Assam and its surrounding areas. Due to this, rain and snowfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh till March 9. Rain may also occur in Assam and Meghalaya.
Bihar is likely to witness thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds with speed of 30 to 40 kmph along with rain. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 7 and 8 March.
The weather may remain hot and humid in Konkan and Goa on March 4. There is no possibility of any significant change in maximum temperature over northwest India during the next 48 hours and thereafter it may gradually increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
