Hockey World Cup Schedule 2023: The 15th edition of the Men’s Hockey World Cup will begin on 13th January 2023. India is hosting the multi-national event for the second successive time.
The event will kickstart with Argentina taking on South Africa at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubhaneswar, Odisha. 16 teams are set to participate in the event and 44 matches are scheduled to be played. The finals is scheduled for 29th January.

The group stage matches in the tournament are scheduled from 13th to 20th January 2023. 16 teams are divided into four groups comprising four teams each. Following the group matches, Top 2 teams from each group will make it to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinal matches will be held on 24th and 25th January.
Semifinals is scheduled to be played on 27th January, while the final will be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on 29th January, Sunday. Only two venues will be used for the tournament. While the one is the Kalinga Stadium, the other venues is the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela.
The event will kickstart with Argentina taking on Bhubaneswar in a Group A match at the Kalinga Stadium. Four matches are scheduled for the day with hosts India too scheduled to face Spain in the final match of the day.
