Holiday List 2024: When will Diwali fall in the year 2024? On which date and day is the next sixty Chhath Puja falling? When and on which day is Holi falling in 2024? So let us not only know the dates and days of these festivals but here you also have the holiday list of 2024 for central employees.

As per the Office Memorandum dated July 3, 2023, the administrative offices of the Central Government will observe the holidays listed below during 2024. Apart from this, each staff member will have the freedom to select any two. The following holidays will be compulsorily observed in the administrative offices of the Central Government located outside Delhi in addition to three holidays, which will be selected from the 12 optional holidays mentioned below.

According to the Central Government Holidays List 2024, “Any change in the date of holidays in respect of Eid Ul Fitr, Eid Ul Azha, Muharram and Eid-e-Milad for offices in Delhi/New Delhi, if necessary, “Depending on the sighting of the moon.”

“Diwali 2024 will fall on Sunday, October 31. In some states, there is a practice of celebrating this occasion a day earlier i.e. “Narak Chaturdashi Diwas”. In view of this, if the central government offices in a state celebrate “Narak Chaturdashi Diwas (in place of Diwali Day)” There is no objection if a holiday is observed on account of Diwali, if only that day is declared a mandatory Diwali holiday in the offices of the State Government in that State.”
