Thousands of employees are to benefit from this decision of the government.
Nitish government of Bihar had announced a huge increase in the honorarium of Vikas Mitra and Shiksha Sevaks. After which a proposal was prepared for this. As soon as the proposal is approved, its orders will be issued soon.
Honorarium of Shiksha Sevak and Talimi Markaz doubled
Under the Education Department, the honorarium of Shiksha Sevak and Shiksha Sevak Talimi Markaz has been doubled from October 2023 in the second year 2023-24. At present the honorarium of Shiksha Sevaks was Rs 11000 per month. Which has been directly increased to Rs 22000 per month.
They will get its benefits from October 2023. The government has also made a proportionate increase in the contribution towards the mandatory Employees Provident Fund Account. In such a situation, approval has also been given to implement 5% annual increase on honorarium from July.
Increase in honorarium of Vikas Mitras
Along with this, the honorarium of Vikas Mitras working in the schemes run by the government through Bihar Mahadalit Development Mission was Rs 13700 per month. Which has been increased to 25000. Implemented from September 2023. In such a situation, along with the September salary, they will also be given the benefit of increased honorarium.
Not only this, the contribution towards Employees’ Provident Fund Account received by the government has also been increased proportionately. In such a situation, approval has been given to implement 5% annual increase on honorarium every year from July.
In such a situation, every year on July 1, an increase of 5% will be seen in the honorarium of these employees. Vikas Mitras will get the benefit of increased honorarium from September while Shiksha Sevaks will get the benefit of increased honorarium from October.
Increase in honorarium of SAP Junior Commissioned Officer also
- Apart from this, the honorarium of SAP Junior Commissioned Officer has also been increased. Earlier he was given a benefit of Rs 20700. Now his salary has increased to Rs 23800.
The honorarium of SAP jawans has also been increased, now they will get a benefit of Rs 19800. Earlier, the honorarium of SAP jawan was Rs 17250.
Honorarium to cooks also increased
Cooks will get a benefit of Rs 15100 as honorarium. At present Rs 13110 are being provided to the cooks.
With this decision of the government, a big increase in the salaries of Vikas Mitra and Shiksha Sevaks will be recorded. With this, their salary may increase to Rs 25000 to Rs 27000. Employees will start getting its benefits from the months of September and October.
