West Bengal is the third largest state in terms of the number of agents. Here LIC has around 1.2 lakh agents, who earn an average of Rs 13,512 per month.

How to become a LIC agent?

To become a LIC agent, you can apply both offline and online. Offline, you have to go to the nearest LIC office and fill and submit the application form. After this, you are called for an interview. If everything is right and you meet LIC’s expectations, you will be selected and given training.

To apply online, you have to visit agencycareer.licindia.in. Here you will be able to register yourself online. If everything is correct, you will be sent information from LIC through phone call or email. In this, you will be told about the further process and rules.

  • It is mandatory to have passed 10th or 12th.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 6 passport size photographs will be required.
  • Residence Certificate, Aadhar Card and PAN Card.

  • You are also given money at concessional rates for building a house.
