Protection from misuse: Due to the QR code on the new PAN card, cyber thugs will not be able to easily duplicate it. This will also make it easier to deal with fraud and comply with new government rules.

More secure: The personal data in the QR code of the new PAN card will be in encrypted format, which can only be read by specially authorized software. Certainly, this will reduce the incidents of breach of personal information. It will also help in the verification of PAN by financial institutions. Usually, cyber criminals commit cyber fraud by changing the photo and name on the PAN card.

Speedy verification: PAN can be easily verified by scanning the QR code. This will not make it easy to commit identity theft and tampering. How effective will the new features be?
