Driving License Rules Changes: To drive a bike, car or other vehicle on the road, it is not enough just to buy vehicles, for that it is very important for you to have a driving license. For driving license, people have to go to RTO ie Regional Transport Office and give driving test. But from next month you will not have to go there and give the test. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has decided to implement the new system from the month of July.
From next month, people will go to the government-approved driving center and take training in driving, for which they will get a certificate. Those successful in the test will get exemption from driving test while getting driving license. That is, they will not need to take the driving test again. The ministry said that these centers will have all the facilities of training as well as driving test track, so that high quality training can be made available to the candidates.
The Union Ministry has issued a notification in this regard. The ministry has set mandatory rules for recognized driver training centres. It has been said that ‘remedial’ and ‘refresher’ courses will be made available at these centers under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. People who do not even know the ABC of driving, or who know driving (like the drivers of vehicles in villages and towns are not very aware of traffic rules), but want to refresh… they will be able to take training.
It will be necessary to be taught well from theory to practical at a center recognized by the Central Ministry. These rules are going to come into effect from July. Under this, driving training centers will be identified, which should have good trainers, tracks for diving and all the facilities that can teach good driving even to a non-knowledge. The learner will be taught to drive from empty streets to busy roads. Then you will get the certificate.
According to the World Bank report, more than 50 road accidents are taking place in the country every hour and every 4 minutes there is one death. The number of vehicles in the country is only 1 percent of the world’s vehicles, but India accounts for 11 percent of the road accidents in the world. India ranks first in this. In such a situation, correct driving can contribute to reducing these figures. The new rules are also convenient for the people and they will also be able to get good training.
