Gautam Adani (62) and his family have topped the 2024 Hurun India Rich List, with assets worth Rs 11.6 lakh crore. His wealth has jumped by 95%. Regarding the increase in Adani’s wealth, the report says that Gautam Adani and his family have emerged like a phoenix after Hindenburg’s allegations and have topped this year’s ranking. Compared to last year, their wealth has increased by 95 percent to Rs 11,61,800 crore.

The significant increase in Adani’s wealth is attributed to the sharp increase in the share price of Adani Group last year. For example, Adani Ports recorded a growth of 98%, driven by increased operational capacity and the upcoming acquisition of additional ports and container terminals. At the same time, the shares of energy sector companies Adani Energy, Adani Gas, Adani Transmission and Adani Power have jumped by about 76 percent.
