ICICI Bank New Service: A first of its kind initiative that enables customers to instantly lock/unlock access to internet banking, UPI, credit and debit cards at one place.
ICICI Bank New Service: ICICI Bank today announced that it has launched ‘SmartLock’, a new security feature that allows its customers to instantly lock/unlock multiple banking services without the help of a customer service officer via phone or email. This feature is available on iMobile Pay.
Crores of customers started the new service – Allows customers to lock/unlock access to internet banking, UPI (including payments from other UPI apps linked to the bank account), credit and debit cards with just a click of a button. This puts the security of their account in their own hands.
The first of its kind in the Indian banking sector, ‘SmartLock’ also allows customers to lock/unlock the entire iMobile Pay.
Customers can use this feature in case of potentially fraudulent transactions in their account and card. One can use it even if one is not using the service.
Log in to iMobile Pay – Click on SmartLock service on the bottom right corner of the home screen. Click on the banking services you want to lock/unlock. Click on it.
To start using it, customers of any bank can link their bank account to the app, create a UPI ID and start transacting.
