New Delhi, Business Desk. It is seen that most of the EPFO members have some problem or curiosity about their EPF account, but due to lack of information, they are unable to find a solution. Employee Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO has created a separate ‘EPF I Complaint Management System’ website for the complaints of EPF account holders. EPFO members can register their complaints by visiting this website. Let us know the procedure for filing a complaint here.
Step 1. The EPFO member will first visit the website www.epfigms.gov.in and click on ‘Register Grievance’ to register a complaint related to their EPF account.
Step 2. Now a new page will open on the screen. Here you have to select the option with which to file a complaint. Options will include PF member, EPF pensioner, employer etc.
Step 3. If the EPFO member has to file a complaint related to the PF account, then he has to choose the option of ‘PF Member’. Now the member has to enter his UAN and security code.
Step 4. After this, the EPFO member will have to click on ‘Get Details’. Now personal information related to UAN will appear on the screen.
Step 5. Now the EPFO member has to click on ‘Get OTP’, which will bring the OTP to the registered mobile number or email ID of the member.

Step 6. Now enter this OTP and click on submit. After verification of the OTP registered by the EPFO member, the member will be asked to enter personal details.
Step 7. Now the PF number related to which the member has to file a complaint, will have to click on that PF number.
Step 8. Now a member will see a pop-up. Here the member has to choose the option with which to file a complaint related to it. Options will include PF office, employer, employee deposit linked insurance (EDLI) scheme or pre-pension etc.
Step 9. After this, the EPFO member will have to upload the required documents on the website and click on submit. With this, the complaint of EPFO member will be registered. The registration number of the complaint is sent by EPFO to your mobile number or email-id.
