The government has made a provision for people to obtain their driving license and registration certificate (RC) through the DigiLocker app from the respective DTO or issuing authority. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the Information Technology Act, 2000 RT-11036/64/2017/MV that the DigiLocker App or the m-Parivahan App shall hold the driving license, RC or any other documents as legal as the original documents. will be formally recognized.
