Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.3 degrees Celsius on Monday, slightly lower than the previous night’s minus 2.1 degrees, officials said. The weather department said the weather is likely to remain mainly dry till the end of the month. Traffic on the roads in Srinagar was lighter than normal in the morning while vehicles were seen moving slowly due to low visibility. A Srinagar airport official said some flights from Delhi were delayed due to poor visibility in the national capital.
