The minimum temperature recorded in Rajasthan is 32 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is 42 degree Celsius. A rain alert has been issued in Gujarat today. In some areas of Gujarat, the minimum temperature is expected to be 31 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to be 43 degree Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius over most parts of Northwest India during the next three days. Over most parts of central India, temperatures are likely to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next five days. In the rest of the country, no significant change in maximum temperatures is expected. However, rain is likely to continue over Northeast India on May 10 and 12.
Madhya Pradesh can record minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius while maximum temperature is 42 degree Celsius. The sky will be cloudy. There will be some relief from the sun. The minimum temperature recorded is 15 degrees while the maximum temperature can be recorded at 27 degrees Celsius. At the same time, a heatwave alert has been issued in Uttarakhand. The maximum temperature has been predicted to remain up to 27 degree Celsius.

With the onset of monsoon, the rainy season has started in many states. In the eastern states where it is raining continuously. As predicted by the Ranchi office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), about eight districts of Jharkhand are likely to receive thunderstorms between Tuesday and Wednesday. Thunderstorms will occur over Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahebganj and adjoining areas.

IMD, Ranchi said that the humidity levels in Ranchi and Bokaro and Jamshedpur are a result of the lack of moisture in the atmosphere over Jharkhand from the easterly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. Heat wave was experienced in Daltonganj till 2 pm as the mercury level hovered around 42 degree Celsius. Although Daltonganj recorded a heatwave, Ramgarh recorded the highest temperature of the day (43 degrees Celsius) on Monday.
