IMD Alert, Today Weather Update: With the activation of a new system, strong wind is blowing in Delhi-NCR. A rain warning was issued today in many areas including Jaffrabad in Delhi. Along with this, an alert has been issued for warning of thunderstorm and lightning. Not only this, apart from Rajasthan, rain warnings have been issued in many parts of Gujarat and some cities of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, a forecast of rain has been expressed in many areas of Uttar Pradesh with the possibility of thunder and lightning. Rain alert in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan

Weather system

  • Due to the influence of western countries, a warning of widespread rain and snowfall has been issued in the western region. The possibility of moderate rain has been expressed in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
  • There is a possibility of moderate rain in Rajasthan on 28 and 29, while light rain will be seen in Delhi on 29 and 30 January. Heavy snowfall and rain has been predicted in the Himalayan region on 29-30 while hailstorm has been predicted on January 29 in Punjab Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh including remote areas of the Himalayan region.

Snowfall in hill States
