IMD Alert : Big news! Change In Weather Continues, Clouds will rain in 15 states today, know complete details

IMD Rain Alert: The biggest alert of stormy rain has been issued, see how the weather will be at your place

IMD has predicted heavy rain and thunderstorm in West Bengal and Sikkim today. Light to moderate rain and thundershower very likely over Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh today. Apart from this, light rain is likely over Northeast India, Uttarakhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.


IMD Alert Today: Changes are being seen in the weather of the country again and again. Sometimes there is a feeling of high heat and humidity due to rise in temperature and sometimes rain and hailstorm is being seen due to the effect of Western Disturbance. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in 15 states today, there may be snowfall in the mountains as well.

Thunderstorms in the Himalayan region, light rain in some parts of eastern India, Vidarbha and Vidarbha during April 6 and 7 Rain is expected in Chhattisgarh during the next 5 days. Light to moderate rain very likely over Madhya Maharashtra and southern parts of Marathwada during April 06-08, Telangana and Interior Karnataka during April 06-07 and Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh during next five days.

Light to moderate rain in these states

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh today.
Apart from this , light rain is also indicated in rest of Northeast India, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Southwest Punjab, Northwest Rajasthan, parts of Haryana, Vidarbha and North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala .

  • In April, the minimum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 15 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 32 degrees. Today the sky will be completely clear. In the coming days, the temperature of Delhi will be around 32 degrees. There is no chance of rain at the moment. Partly cloudy sky may occur in Gurugram from 8th April. The sky is expected to remain clear in Noida today as well. From April 9, the temperature in Delhi can reach up to 34 degrees. Ghaziabad’s temperature can reach 35 degrees, Gurugram’s maximum temperature can reach 36 degrees and Noida’s maximum temperature can reach 35 degrees.
  • There is a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of eastern and western UP . Varanasi, Prayagraj, Bulandshahr, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Badayun, Pilibhit, Agra, Mainpuri, Mathura, Hathras, Etawah, Auraiya, Shahjahanpur and Etah districts are likely to receive rain till April 6. The maximum temperature can remain up to 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can be up to 19 degree Celsius. The temperature is expected to rise by three to four degrees from Wednesday. By April 10, the maximum temperature can be more than 35 degrees.
  • According to the MP Meteorological Department, there will be rain in Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh between April 5 and 10, while in Jabalpur it will be partly cloudy on April 6 and 7. Today, on April 5, the weather will be changeable in Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Umaria, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat. On April 8, Western Disturbance will be active in Gwalior, Chambal and Sagar divisions. The temperature will remain around 40 degrees. On Wednesday, in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Bhopal divisions and Shajapur, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari with thunder and lightning. There is a possibility of drizzle.
  • According to the Chhattisgarh Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some areas of the state on Wednesday due to the effect of Dronika. After April 10, the weather patterns in Chhattisgarh may change again. A trough extends up to 0.9 km height from Jharkhand to interior Tamil Nadu. Due to its effect, there are chances of light rain and thundershowers in different areas of the state on Wednesday.
    Light rain would occur over East India during the next 48 hours and thereafter the weather would become dry. Scattered rain and hailstorm may occur over East Arunachal Pradesh and Northeast Assam. In Central India, light to moderate rains may occur over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during next 5 days.
  • Thunderstorm and lightning over West India and South India with light to moderate rain very likely over Maharashtra and Marathwada. Temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degree Celsius over most parts of North India with maximum temperature over next 5 days during 6th and 7th April in Karnataka but no heat wave conditions expected in any part.
    Today there is a possibility of snowfall in Jammu Kashmir , Ladakh, Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh , there is a possibility of hailstorm in Uttarakhand.
  • Change in the weather will start appearing in Haryana on Wednesday. The temperature may increase by 2 to 4 degree Celsius. Today, in 15 districts of Bhiwani, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Panipat, Sonipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Kaithal, Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Rewari, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and strong winds.
