IMD Alert: Big news! Heavy rain alert in these 11 states for 72 hours, know complete detail immediately

Rain warnings have been issued in 10 states due to three systems being active once again across the country, while Bihar, Jharkhand are seeing continuous drop in temperature as well as the effect of cold wind.

Cold winds will continue in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Earthquake tremors can be felt in some parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat. Apart from this, a cold day warning has been issued in these areas.

IMD Alert, Today Weather Update: A low pressure area has emerged over Comorin and surrounding areas. At the same time, due to the cyclonic circulation, it has been predicted to be earlier till the mid-tropospheric level. Due to the circulation, a forecast of rain has been issued in the southwest including the southern state. Rain can be seen in some parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Goa. The cold wave effect will continue over Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan while a weak Western Disturbance is active over the Western Himalayas. Due to this, snowfall is currently continuing in the hill states including Himachal, Uttarakhand. The snowfall will continue till February 6. Due to which the cold wind will increase in the Gangetic areas.

Weather during last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, moderate rains have been recorded over Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. Apart from this, rain is continuing in Lakshadweep as well. Dense fog enveloped some areas of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, while Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and New Delhi witnessed mild cold wave and cool day. According to the Meteorological Department, on February 6, the Western Disturbance will further weaken. After which the snowfall in the hilly states will be curbed.

Next 24 hours weather
Talking about the possible weather activities for the next 24 hours, apart from Sikkim, East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Western Himalayas may also see rain during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, rain forecast has also been issued in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Moderate to high rainfall can be recorded in these areas.

The flow of cold air continues in the capital Delhi till February 7.

Due to Western Disturbance, there has been more snowfall in the hills of North India. Forecast of fog with rain and snowfall on hilly areas

Apart from Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, the meteorological department has also issued forecasts in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There will be dense fog amidst snowfall and rain.

Along with this, a new forecast was issued by the Meteorological Department. Under this, another western disturbance will be active on Sunday night, this western disturbance is going to happen. Due to which the western Himalayan region can be affected. There is a possibility of scattered rain in Uttarakhand on 6th February. Although this Western Disturbance will not affect the plains and Northwest India including Central India will see an increase in temperature after February 6.


There will be normal rain in February

The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast that northwest India may see normal rains in the month of February. However, with this the chances of cold wave and fog will be very less.

Severe cold in Punjab Haryana

According to the Meteorological Department, cold conditions prevailed at many places in Punjab and Haryana on Friday. The minimum temperature of 5 degree Celsius has been recorded by the Meteorological Department in Bhatinda and Faridkot of Punjab. However, Patiala Ferozepur has seen a rise in temperature while Bhiwani including Karnal Hisar in Haryana has also recorded minimum temperature of 6 degree Celsius. An increase in temperature is being seen in the capital Chandigarh. A forecast of gradual improvement in the weather has been issued.

Light rain in some areas of UP

This rise in temperature is being seen in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Although the traffic of clouds will continue in Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi today. Light rain has been predicted in Ghaziabad today. Along with this, with the end of Western Disturbance, once again the effect of cold has started appearing in Uttar Pradesh. From February 4 to February 6, it will be cloudy in many areas of UP. At the same time, the forecast of rain has been issued.

Weather will change in Rajasthan, earthquake tremors at some places

Earthquake tremors were felt in Amreli, Gujarat, although its intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 3.2. In Manipur too, the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 4. Cold day alert has been issued in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Although the movement of clouds will continue but the possibility of rain has been ruled out. These regions would see an increase in temperature after February 6.

Heavy rain in Tamilnadu

Heavy rain is being seen in Tamil Nadu. In view of the rains in many areas of Tamil Nadu, schools and colleges were kept closed, Saturday was also declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the district. This information has been given by the District Collector. Schools and colleges have been closed in Thanjavur due to incessant rains.

Temperature drop in Bihar Jharkhand

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Bihar will see a drop in the minimum temperature for the next 3 to 4 days. There were chances of increasing cold. Dense fog ever forecast has been issued in some district. The effect of cold wind is once again visible in many areas including the capital Patna, while in Jharkhand also the westerly wind has increased the cold. The minimum temperature in Ranchi reached 10 degree Celsius. At the same time, the cold wind continued in Simdega during the 24 hours. A forecast has been issued for cold wind in Chaibasa as well. There is a possibility of further fall in the minimum temperature.

Rain in eastern state

Moderate rain and drizzle have been predicted in Arunachal Pradesh including Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland today. Along with this, dense fog will also be seen in some places. Due to snowfall in Himachal’s Mandi, Una, a drop in temperature can be seen in these areas.

Rain warning in southern state

A rain warning has been issued today in parts of Maharashtra including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Actually, due to reaching the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there is a change in the weather. At present, this process will continue till February 7. With the change in the weather on February 7, the sky will be cloudy.
