IMD Alert: Many states of the country are facing severe heat due to increase in temperature. The maximum temperature was recorded at 43.5 degrees Celsius in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. Anantapur recorded 42.8 degrees and Tirupati 41.7 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, maximum temperatures between 40-43 are being recorded in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra.

Slight relief from heat in some places of South India

According to the Meteorological Department, some decrease in temperature is being seen in many areas of South India. During the last 24 hours, there has been a drop of 2-4 degrees Celsius over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and 1-2 degrees Celsius over Rayalaseema, Telangana and Interior Karnataka. Kavali in coastal Andhra Pradesh has seen a drop of 7°C in the last 24 hours.

Rain alert at these places

The Meteorological Department said that Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha have received light to moderate rainfall. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain and thundershowers in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha during the next 2-3 hours. At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall and lightning along with thunder in Odisha.

Delhi’s climate

At the same time, Monday was a hot day in Delhi and the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.1 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees more than the average temperature of this season. According to IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 17.4 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees below this season’s average temperature. The weather office has predicted partly cloudy sky in Delhi on Tuesday, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius.
