IMD Alert: According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi and surrounding areas are likely to remain partly cloudy today, in which very light rain or drizzle may occur. At the same time, the weather has once again wreaked havoc in Bihar. There has been heavy rain with thunder. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain and heatwave in many states of the country, know the update of IMD.

Severe heat has started in many states of the country including Delhi. June-like heat has started in April itself. The maximum temperature in many places in Delhi-NCR is 4-6 degrees more than normal. At the same time, the weather in Delhi is going to change.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi and surrounding areas are likely to remain partly cloudy on April 10, in which very light rain or drizzle may occur. At the same time, light rain may occur on Friday as well. This may give some relief to the people from the heat. Also, according to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in UP till April 13. Rain in Bihar-UP

On the other hand, it will rain in Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand from today till April 12. According to IMD, lightning has struck Bihar with thunder. Rain has also started in UP.

Rain alert in these states in the next 24 hours

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thunder may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Central India. During this time, winds can also blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour.

If we talk about other states of the country, then according to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave situation in Rajasthan may become more severe tomorrow. The maximum temperature in cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner can go up to 40-42 degrees Celsius.

Heatwave alert in these 9 states including Gujarat-Rajasthan

Temperature is being recorded around 43-46 degrees at many places in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature recorded in Kandla, Gujarat was 45.6 degrees which is the highest in North India. The temperature recorded in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh was 44.2 degrees.

The temperature recorded in Barmer, Rajasthan was 46.5 degrees and in Pilani it was 44 degrees. Similarly, the temperature recorded in Akola and Jalgaon, Maharashtra was 43.7 degrees.
