Due to this, light to moderate rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra for the next four days. The weather of the rest of the states will remain dry and there is a possibility of a slight increase in temperature.

Apart from this, the IMD has also said that at present there is a situation of cyclonic winds around Punjab and Pakistan, due to which a favorable environment is being created for rain in the northern states. There is also a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms in South India.

The minimum temperature has been recorded above normal temperature in most parts of Central Maharashtra. The temperature is likely to increase gradually in the next 24 hours. The weather will remain cloudy in Vidarbha, and light rain may occur at some places.

Let us tell you that the effect of cold wave continues in entire North India. Dense fog has covered Ayodhya, which has reduced the visibility throughout the day. At the same time, normal life is also being affected due to cold wave and fog in the national capital Delhi. Due to cold wave and fog, many trains are running late at New Delhi Railway Station. Apart from this, some trains have also been canceled, due to which passengers are facing a lot of trouble. Trains are running hours late from the scheduled time, due to which passengers have to change their travel schedule.

At the same time, light rain has also occurred in some parts of Delhi, which is increasing the cold further. The Meteorological Department has warned that cold wave conditions will persist for the next few days.

Cold increased due to rain in many areas including Jaipur

Many areas including Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur received light rain during the day on Wednesday, which caused further drop in temperature and increased cold. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and hailstorm are expected in many areas of the state on Thursday as well. According to the department, 5.2 mm rain fell in the capital Jaipur and 1.2 mm rain fell in Bhilwara during the day on Wednesday.

According to the department, the minimum temperature decreased further due to change in weather, the maximum day temperature in Jaipur was recorded at 15.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 10.3 degrees Celsius. Due to increasing cold, holiday has been declared in schools up to class VIII in Jaipur on Thursday, the timings of higher classes have been changed.
