IMD Rainfall, Weather Update: Shadow of heavy rain is being seen in many states on Diwali. There are chances of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa. For this, Orange Yellow alert has been issued while moderate rain can be seen in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan including the capital Delhi.
The weather in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will remain cloudy. Fog will increase. However, day temperature will increase. Due to which heat will be felt. Due to the activity of western disturbance, snowfall is going to continue in the hilly areas. Then till Tuesday, heavy snowfall will be seen on the mountain peaks in Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, while rain will continue to wreak havoc in the lower areas.

A low pressure active in the Bay of Bengal
Strong easterly north-easterly winds in the Gulf are moving towards the South Peninsular. Rain may be seen in Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. An active low pressure area will form over South East and South West Bay of Bengal including Andaman Nicobar Islands for 7 days. Due to which significant changes will be seen in the weather in many areas from November 15.
There will be a reduction in visibility as Delhi becomes cloudy from Monday. However, there is no possibility of any significant change in the temperature. Landslide activity is being witnessed due to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. Trains till November 16 have been cancelled. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a western disturbance has formed in Delhi and surrounding areas on Thursday evening, which is drawing moisture from the Arabian Sea.
