The Meteorological Department (IMD) says that on 26 and 27 February, there may be rain and thundershowers in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Let us know the weather condition of the entire country including Delhi-NCR.
The weather is changing across the country. Due to increase in day temperature, there has been a decrease in cold. However, it is still cool at night. The Meteorological Department (IMD) says that there may be rain and thundershowers in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir on 26 and 27 February.
Seasonal activities of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the western disturbance is seen as a cyclonic circulation over northern Pakistan. A cyclonic circulation has formed over the central parts of Rajasthan and surrounding areas. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation has formed over Marathwada and its associated areas.
Apart from this, a trough is extending from the above cyclonic circulation to South Tamil Nadu via Interior Karnataka. A fresh western disturbance may reach the Himalayan region from 26th February. At the same time, an area of cyclonic winds has formed over southern Chhattisgarh.
Delhi’s climate
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in Delhi at night on 26 February. At the same time, the weather will start clearing from 27th February, after that there may be rain and thundershowers in Delhi between 1st and 2nd March. According to IMD, the minimum temperature of Delhi may remain between 9 to 13 degrees Celsius this entire week. At the same time, the maximum temperature is likely to be between 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
Weather condition of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Whereas light rain is possible at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.
Apart from this, light rain is possible in Eastern Assam, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Southern Chhattisgarh. After 24 hours, rain activities may also start in some parts of Marathwada, Vidarbha and Telangana.
