IMD ALERT: IMD has said on Monday that between March 5 and March 7, there may be light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.

IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that a new western disturbance may hit the western Himalayan region from the night of Tuesday i.e. March 5, due to which rapid changes in the weather are possible.
IMD said on Monday that between March 5 and March 7, there may be light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, the Meteorological Department says that during this period, there are chances of rain or snowfall at some places in another hilly state Uttarakhand.
Here, there may be rain at some places in the Northeast. The Meteorological Department has forecast that there may be light to moderate rain with thunderstorms at some places in Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland on March 5. Kerala and Rayalaseema in the southern part of India may experience hot and humid weather during two-three days.
Another weather agency Skymet Weather says that the weather may remain dry in other parts of the country. The special thing is that in the last few days, light to moderate rain has also been recorded in Bihar, West Bengal, some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh.
