According to the Meteorological Department, Meerut and surrounding areas in western UP may remain partly cloudy for 48 hours from Monday. The incident is expected to be covered by fog. Dr. SN Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of CSA University, said that cold will increase in the next 24 to 48 hours.
