The effect of dense fog is visible in most of the states of North India including the country’s capital Delhi. However, compared to the previous day i.e. Wednesday, there is less fog in Delhi-NCR today, 28th December. Whereas the temperature of Delhi is expected to drop further. The entire North India is in the grip of dense fog. Most of the states from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana to Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are under the shadow of fog. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of getting relief from fog for a few days. According to the Meteorological Department, visibility of 25 meters has been recorded due to fog at 5.30 am today (Thursday), December 28 in Ambala in Haryana, Patiala in Punjab, Chandigarh and Palam in Delhi.
At the same time, visibility of 25 meters was recorded in Bareilly, Lucknow and Varanasi of UP. Whereas 50 meter visibility was recorded in Jhansi and Bahraich.

Delhi’s climate
In comparison to the previous day i.e. Wednesday, there is less fog in Delhi-NCR today, 28th December. Whereas the temperature of Delhi is expected to drop further. The minimum temperature of Delhi may drop by 2 points to 6 degrees Celsius. With an increase of one point, the maximum temperature can reach 21 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, an alert of very dense fog has been issued in Delhi.
Dense fog alert in Uttar Pradesh
An alert was issued regarding very dense fog in a total of 25 districts of UP. Which includes Kheri, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Bijnor, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Jalaun district is included. Talking about Lucknow, there is a possibility of fog here also. Talking about temperature, the minimum temperature here can be 11 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 24 degree Celsius.

Fog alert in these states
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, dense to very dense fog may continue in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Moderate fog is possible over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and Arunachal Pradesh and light rain is possible over Northeast India and coastal Tamil Nadu.
