Weather condition of Punjab
According to IMD, there will be dense fog in about 15 districts of Punjab. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Punjab’s Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Moga, Barnala, Bathinda, Mansa, Muktsar, Sangrur, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Patiala, Faridkot and Malerkotla.

Light to moderate fog will be seen in the country’s capital Delhi during the New Year week. Talking about the temperature, the minimum temperature in Delhi today i.e. on January 1 is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 16 degrees Celsius. Severe cold conditions are likely to continue in Haryana also. According to IMD, there will be dense fog conditions in 11 districts of Haryana. In Haryana, Ambala, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Rohtak, Sonipat, Panipat, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar and Jind have been put on red alert.
