Cyclone Asani: The effect of cyclonic storm Asani over the Bay of Bengal has started showing on Jharkhand. The effect will start showing from the evening of May 13. There is a possibility of heat wave in five states from May 11 to May 13. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand till May 15.
Ranchi. The low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal is turning into a cyclonic storm today i.e. on Tuesday. This storm has been named Asani. This is the first storm to form in the pre-monsoon season this year. The effect of cyclonic storm Asani over the Bay of Bengal has started showing on Jharkhand. The effect will start showing from the evening of May 13. There is a possibility of heat wave in five states from May 11 to May 13. Here, there is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand till May 15.
Indian Meteorological Center Ranchi scientist Abhishek Anand said that from May 12 to 14, wind will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km in many parts of the state. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning with rain. In the next four-five days, the maximum temperature of Ranchi can be 37 and the minimum temperature can remain up to 23 degrees. There will be relief from heat in many parts of Jharkhand. The sky will remain cloudy, there may be sporadic rain.
Central part of Jharkhand i.e. Ranchi apart from Bokara, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh, southern part i.e. East and West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega and North-Eastern part i.e. Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur And there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places of Sahibganj district.

The heat is wreaking havoc in all the districts including the capital Ranchi. People are troubled by the scorching heat with hot air. Meanwhile, people are expected to get relief from the rising heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of getting some relief from the heat after May 11 in the surrounding districts and north eastern parts including Ranchi. From May 11 to May 13, it will be cloudy in many districts of the state. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and wind speed of 40 to 50 per hour.
