According to meteorologists, heavy rain alert has been issued in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Himachal today.
Rain continues in many parts of the country. IMD has issued an alert in Goa including Kerala Gujarat Maharashtra Madhya Pradesh . However, the weather is improving in some districts of Madhya Pradesh. Monsoon in North India can be seen in strong condition in August. Let us tell you that the monsoon (Monsoon 2022) has not been active in North India yet. Due to which it is having a huge impact on the sowing of paddy. The Meteorological Department has also expressed hope on increasing rain activity in North India.
The Meteorological Department has said that after the first week of August, many states of North India may see rain. Heavy rain alert has also been issued in the hill state. An alert of heavy rain was issued in Himachal and Uttarakhand including Jammu and Kashmir till July 31 . Apart from this , heavy rain has also been predicted in Rajasthan, UP and Bihar till July 31. Incessant rains are continuing in many districts of Bihar.
According to the IMD, the Monsoon Trough is now likely to gradually shift northwards after receiving heavy rains over South and West, leading to an increase in rain activity over North India from Wednesday. Whereas Delhi will see showers. Safdarjung has received 257.3 mm of rainfall as against the normal 257.4 mm since the monsoon season began on June 1.
In Uttar Pradesh , there is a continuous increase in temperature due to lack of rain. Drizzle alert has been issued in some districts of UP . It is believed that the weather will change in Delhi after July 31.
Jharkhand has been deficient in rainfall so far this monsoon, in fact due to negligible uniform activity over the northern Bay of Bengal. Jharkhand has received 230 mm of rain till Tuesday afternoon against the normal average of 455.9 mm till this time of the year, with a 50% reduction in cumulative rainfall this time. In 20 out of 24 districts, there is rainfall deficiency between 40%-78 per cent. Generally, every year till the monsoon there are at least two or more cyclonic circulations, causing heavy rains across the state. This has not happened so far this year.
Earlier on Tuesday, drizzle was seen in Gurugram and Jafarpur including Safdarjung Palam Lodhi Road in Delhi. In the early days of August, heavy rains can be seen in the capital Delhi. According to meteorologists, the Monsoon Trough is located 300 km south through Jaisalmer, Madhavpur and Guna. The effect of which is being seen in other states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat. Apart from this, heavy rain has been issued in Himachal Pradesh Shimla.
So far many houses and cowsheds have been damaged due to landslides in Shimla and Uttarakhand. Flood situation has also been created due to heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 4 days of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh. Here the drizzle will continue in the southern state as well. A lot can be seen in some districts of Maharashtra including Bangalore Kerala Tamil Nadu. However, the sky will remain cloudy in Mumbai.
