The maximum temperature in states like Haryana, Delhi, Southern Uttar Pradesh, Southeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Southwest Bihar was between 43-46 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh was recorded at 45.8 degree Celsius. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains occurred in coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Odisha.
