IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update: A drop in temperature has started in the states of North India, while rain activities are still going on in the southern states. The month of November is about to end, but the rains have not ended in the southern states. The Meteorological Department has predicted that it will rain in South Peninsular India for the next five days. At the same time, there is a possibility of cold wave in East Rajasthan for the next three days.
Releasing the forecast, the Meteorological Department said, “Light to moderate rain is going to continue over South Peninsular India for the next 4-5 days. The reason behind this is that the cyclonic circulation which was there yesterday in Tamil Nadu has reached around Kerala. Due to this, there will be moderate rains over the states of the southern peninsula. At the same time, cyclonic circulation is also formed near the Andaman Sea.
Andaman and Nicobar, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Coasts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, North Karnataka and Kerala with light to moderate rains for the next five days. At the same time, winter has started in other parts of the country. A drop in temperature is being recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Northwest and Central India is going to remain around 8-10 degree Celsius for the next four to five days. The Meteorological Department has said that cold wave can be seen in East Rajasthan during the coming three days. There is no cloud cover in North and Central India, due to which rain activities will not be seen in these areas.
Delhi’s coldest November morning since 2020
The national capital on Friday witnessed the coldest November morning in the last two years as the minimum temperature settled at 7.8 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal. India Meteorological Department gave this information. The weather office has predicted a partly cloudy sky throughout the day, while the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 27 degrees Celsius. Friday’s minimum temperature is the lowest in the month since November 23, 2020, when the city recorded a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees Celsius.
Mercury at five degree Celsius in Fatehpur and Churu of Rajasthan
Churu and Fatehpur remained the coldest places in the state on Thursday night with a minimum temperature of five degrees Celsius in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department said on Friday, the minimum temperature on Thursday night was 6.7 degrees Celsius in Karauli, 6.9 degrees in Mount Abu, 7.4 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara, 8.0 degrees in Pilani and Chittorgarh, 8.0 degrees in Sikar, 8.2 degrees in Nagaur, 8.5 degrees in Kota, Dholpur recorded 8.6 degrees Celsius, Ganganagar recorded 8.9 degrees Celsius. At the same time, in the capital Jaipur, the maximum and minimum temperature was recorded at 27.3 and 11.2 degree Celsius respectively in the last 24 hours.
