Soon a Western Disturbance will be active between Rajasthan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Due to which the weather may change in Rajasthan.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted widespread rainfall with thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next 5 days. The impact of Northeast Monsoon will be visible in coastal South Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka on Sunday and Monday. Central alert was issued predicting extremely heavy rains, while the weather is changing rapidly in Andhra Pradesh also. The sky is cloudy.

Heavy snowfall in mountain areas and upper peaks

Heavy snowfall will be seen in the hilly areas and upper peaks of Himachal, Uttarakhand including Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, while moderate rain has also been predicted in the lower areas. A cyclonic circulation is forming over southwest Bay of Bengal off the Tamil Nadu coast and another cyclonic circulation is forming over lower south Tamil Nadu. Due to these systems, moisture levels will increase towards peninsular India.

In such a situation, there will be significant changes in the weather of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The sky will be cloudy. Fog levels will continue to increase. Heavy rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala from Sunday to Tuesday. Apart from this, forecast of heavy rain has also been given in all Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm rainfall is expected.

In response to the forecast, IMD has issued a Yellow Orange alert in these areas citing local weather. At the government level, people have been instructed to remain alert. In Tamil Nadu on Sunday and Monday, Villupuram, Kallakkurichi, Cuddalore, Salem, Perambalur, Tiruvarur, Pudukkottai, Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar and Thoothukudi. Warning of heavy rain has been issued in the districts. Similar alerts have been issued for Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam and Idukki in Kerala as well as Chikmagalur and Hassan in Karnataka.

The weather will be dry in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Shahid, Orissa, West Bengal, Haryana, Punjab. Humidity will also be experienced in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. However, it was also predicted that the cold would increase in these areas in the morning and evening. A drop of 4 to 5% will be seen in the minimum temperature while there will be an increase in fog along with reduced visibility. With the rain in South India, cold air activity will increase across the country. After this the winter will start well.

Westerly wind effect

Bihar will experience pink cold in the morning and evening while the effect of westerly wind will be seen. There will be fog in the morning. It will be sunny throughout the day. Weather will be similar in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Fog will be seen in 083 areas of Purvanchal, while the weather will be normal. It will be sunny throughout the day. A 3 to 4% drop in temperature will be recorded. Uttarakhand will experience severe cold. Cold will increase in the plains at night. The minimum temperature in Dehradun has been recorded 1 degree below normal.

The temperature in Jammu has reached minus. The snowfall is going to continue. Partly Cloudy. Changes will be seen in Punjab also. The maximum temperature will be up to 30 degrees Celsius. There will be light breeze in between. The weather will remain dry. There is forecast of rain in Haryana. Light rain may be seen on 28th and 29th October with the activation of Western Cyclonic Storm. Actually the western disturbance is weak. Due to which heavy rain has been predicted in some areas in Rajasthan also. The weather will be dry in Gujarat. The weather is expected to remain dry in Maharashtra also. An increase in temperature can be seen in some districts.
