The cyclonic circulation is located at the lower troposphere level over the north-east Bay of Bengal and west-central Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. Another cyclonic circulation is expected to form in the northwest Bay of Bengal next week.
IMD Alert/Weather Update Today: Monsoon activity will increase once again in the month of September. Along with this, a heavy rain warning has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha. A change in the weather will be expected in Delhi, while a forecast of change in the weather has been issued in the second week in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Orange alert of heavy rain
Orange alert of heavy rain has been issued today by the weather department in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh. Landslide and thunderstorm warnings have been issued. Along with this, a drop of 2 to 3% in temperature will be recorded. Along with the drop in temperature, there will be an increase in humidity. Himachal and Uttarakhand can also witness significant changes in weather. However, there is going to be a break in the rain activity in Himachal. Which will benefit the people. Weather may change from Saturday Sunday to Wednesday in some areas. Rain warning has been issued in 19 states. Scattered rains will continue in Uttarakhand too.
During the last week of August, the weakening of the monsoon led to a pause in the rain activity in Himachal and Uttarakhand. Although some areas will see a period of rain, along with intense heat, an increase in temperature can also be seen. Monsoon may be active again in Himachal and Uttarakhand after September 4.

Alert in these states today
A moderate rain warning has been issued in the Andaman and Nicobar deep group today, while a red alert for heavy rain has been issued in Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. Heavy rain may be seen at some places. A rain alert has also been issued today in the Himalayan region of West Bengal.
According to Director General of Meteorological Department, Mrityunjay Mohapatra, there is a possibility of normal rain in September. Even if there is heavy rain in September, it is expected to be less than normal rain during June to September.
The effect of El Niño
Let me tell you that the big reason behind the lack of rain in August has been recorded. An El Nino effect was observed in the equatorial Pacific Ocean. Due to which the speed of monsoon has stopped. During this time, there is a movement in the sea surface temperature of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Due to which the effect of El Nino can be changed. Soon the speed of clouds will be faster and the speed of monsoon is going to be faster.
Maharashtra, Vidarbha along with Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are also likely to see scattered rain. However, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu are once again witnessing an increase in temperature. A forecast of weather change has been released in these areas soon.
After Saturday, there is a change in the weather in many states. Along with this, an increase of 1 to 2% in temperature can be seen.
