There is a possibility of heavy rain in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Karnataka.
A warning of widespread and extremely heavy rain has been issued over the central and west coast of India. India Meteorological Department *IMD Alert has announced heavy rain in these areas for 3 to 4 consecutive days on Tuesday. Apart from this, a low pressure area has formed over North Bay and adjoining Bay of Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal while Monsoon Trough is active. Due to which an alert of heavy rain has been issued in the areas for 4 to 5 days.

Apart from this, a Depression will remain concentrated and move west-northwest from Orissa, Chhattisgarh in the next 24 hours. Due to which a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Jharkhand, Orissa, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur including isolated areas of Gangia West Bengal for 3 to 4 days in North India .
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that heavy rains will continue over the Ghat areas of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana for the next 2-3 days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall with very heavy falls very likely at isolated places over Vidarbha, Odisha, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra Ghat regions and Konkan and Goa. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Telangana and Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.
Apart from this, IMD has issued a red alert for Maharashtra, Gujarat region and parts of Odisha for August 9. Saurashtra and Kutch have been put on Orange Alert, while heavy rains are likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Karnataka. In West Madhya Pradesh from August 10 to 12, in East Madhya Pradesh from August 10 to 12, in Chhattisgarh from August 9 to 14, in Vidarbha on August 10 and 14, in Gujarat region on August 9 and 11, in Saurashtra and Kutch There is a chance of rain.
IMD has predicted very heavy rainfall in Odisha on August 9 and 10 over Madhya Maharashtra , Konkan and Goa regions on August 11. Heavy rain is also likely in Uttarakhand on August 10 and in East Rajasthan on August 12. Heavy rain is also very likely at isolated places over Southeast Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, North Interior Karnataka and Kerala and Mahe .
