IMD Alert : Rain alert in these 20 states including Delhi, relief from heat, know complete details

Now there will be relief from heat across the country. Actually, according to the IMD Alert, the monsoon (Monsoon 2022) has reached the western state of Gujarat. Monsoon may enter Rajasthan next week after reaching Gujarat. Now due to pre-monsoon 2022, on one hand , there are continuous changes in weather in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab including Madhya Pradesh . On the other hand, the weather is becoming pleasant in North India. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of rain alert in many districts in 2 to 3 days. Also, the effect of pre-monsoon will also be visible in the neighboring states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier , rain has been seen in many areas of Rajasthan . In fact , the weather is pleasant due to light rain with drizzle in Udaipur Dungarpur Banswara Pratapgarh Sirohi Pali Jalore Barmer Jaisalmer Kota Ajmer and Nagaur . In Rajasthan , the level of Nabi has once again increased due to moisture and moisturiser winds coming from the Arabian Sea. A cyclonic circulation has formed in the upper level of the atmosphere over the southwest and southeast parts. Due to which the clouds have started forming. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in Rajasthan on June 15 and 16 . However, from June 17, once again the rainy season will start.

After June 17, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Gujarat including Rajasthan. Talking about the hilly states, the monsoon is expected to arrive in Himachal, Uttarakhand after June 20. Before this, pre-monsoon activity is being seen. An alert was also issued in the state to walk inside with heavy rain for 2 days. Due to the active western disturbance from June 15, there is a possibility of rain in Shimla. At the same time, on June 18, an alert of heavy rain was issued in the plains and hills of the state, while on June 17, a yellow alert of rain has also been issued.

According to meteorologists, the monsoon has gained momentum in the country. If the monsoon does not weaken, then it is expected to reach Himachal by June 20. Earlier, the weather has remained pleasant since pre-monsoon. Meanwhile, the Assam government issued an order to close all educational institutions in Guwahati due to the IMD red alert warning for heavy rains. Guwahati has received 81.5 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, which falls in the ‘heavy rain’ category.

Red alert issued for Assam and Meghalaya

The RMC has issued a ‘Red Alert’ for Assam and Meghalaya, with isolated and scattered “extremely heavy rain” from Tuesday to Thursday and an ‘Orange Alert’ for Friday and Saturday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Bhubaneswar Center said on Wednesday that the southwest monsoon is likely to enter Odisha in the next 48 hours.


Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center has tweeted that conditions are favorable for the onset of Southwest Monsoon in Odisha in the next 48 hours. According to the weather report, due to low level strong winds from Bay of Bengal to Northeast India, the entry of moisture is likely to continue from June 14 to 18. “Under its influence, widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue at isolated places over northeastern states from June 14-18, 2022,” the RMC said.

Here the effect of the arrival of Southwest Monsoon has started showing in Bihar as well. Rain has been recorded in many districts of Bihar. On the other hand, Supaul district has recorded the highest rainfall of 48.4 mm. Within 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in other areas including Patna. The minimum temperature is expected to be 31 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to be 42 degree Celsius. The rainy season will start in Delhi from Friday. Due to which the common man will get relief. In Haryana , the minimum temperature is likely to be 31 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to be 42 degree Celsius. Changes in weather will also be seen in Haryana from Friday. The rainy season will begin. Whereas in Punjab the situation of change in weather will become clear.

Today the sky will remain cloudy in Madhya Pradesh . From Thursday, continuous rain will start in Madhya Pradesh. On one side from Thursday, a drop of three to four percent in temperature will be recorded. At the same time, life will also get relief from the humidity. A rain alert was issued in Chhattisgarh today with the brightness. In fact, there is a possibility of drizzle in many states of Chhattisgarh. The minimum temperature is 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to remain up to 36 degrees Celsius.

In Bihar , there is a possibility of rain in today’s areas. Apart from this, it will be cloudy in many areas, although from Friday, once again rain will start in Bihar. The minimum temperature can be recorded at 28 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is 41 degrees Celsius, while in Jharkhand , the sky will remain cloudy in Jharkhand today. The minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to be 32 degree Celsius. A rain alert was also issued in some areas of Jharkhand. However, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jharkhand from Thursday.

In Bengal too, the sky will remain cloudy today, the minimum temperature is 29 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature can be recorded at 34 degrees Celsius. Changes in weather will be seen in many areas of Bengal from Thursday, along with heavy rain alert has been issued. Rain continues in the eastern state. On the other hand, rain in Assam, including Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, has disrupted life. Incessant rains have created a flood situation in many areas. At the same time, the rainy season will continue for the time being. The effect of monsoon will be seen.

The minimum temperature in Kerala today is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to remain up to 31 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain cloudy.
