Weather Update: The month of February has started. Still, people in many areas of North India have not got respite from the cold. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department says that today i.e. on February 12, there may be rain in many states. There may be rain and thunder in some states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh.
Weather Update: The weather patterns are about to change again. Cold may increase again in many areas of North India including Delhi. The Meteorological Department says that the rainy season is going to start in many states from today i.e. Monday (February 12). Along with this, hailstorm may occur in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR today is likely to be 25 degrees Celsius. Along with this, the minimum temperature can remain at 8 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said in its forecast that there will be morning fog in Delhi. The day may remain partly cloudy. Along with this, it may rain in Delhi on 14th February.
The minimum temperature in the capital Delhi was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning. Whereas the air quality index remained in the very poor category. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the air quality index (AQI) at 9 am was 325, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category.
Rain alert in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha between February 12 and 13. There are chances of light rain in South Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal between 12th and 14th February. Apart from this, there may be light rain at one or two places in Telangana today. At the same time, during the next 2 to 3 days, the minimum temperature in North-West and Central India may increase by 2 to 3 degrees.
Chances of rain in 10 districts of UP
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh today (12 February 2024). It may rain in 10 districts including Prayagraj, Banda, Chitrakoot. There is no possibility of rain in the state capital Lucknow. It may only be cloudy.

Talking about Bihar, there is a possibility of rain in 15 districts of the state. It may rain in Gopalganj, Buxar, Bhojpur, Bhabua, Arwal, Gaya, Aurangabad, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Nalanda, Jehanabad. Winter may increase here.
