IMD Rainfall, Weather Update: Changes are being seen in the weather of the country. Smog is increasing in the sky of Delhi while it is cloudy in Lucknow. Rainfall warning has been issued in many states as the weather changes.
Moderate rain has been predicted today in the Royal Border region including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Due to the Northeast Monsoon, the possibility of change in weather in these areas has increased. The weather will remain dry over North India with rain activity over parts of South India. A steep drop in temperature may be seen in some states. Apart from this, there are also predictions of increase in cold.
Forecast of severe cold
Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Leh Ladakh’s Balistan Muzaffarpur have been predicted to witness severe cold with the onset of November. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas. There are chances of rain in the low lying areas along with snowfall in the hilly areas. With the falling temperature in the state, shivering and chills have increased.
Severe cold is being seen in the morning and evening. The weather is looking clear in mild day. There are chances of bright sunshine for the last few days. A slight increase in temperature may also be recorded. Snow on the peaks – light breeze is being felt in the mountainous areas. According to the Meteorological Department, at present the activity of western disturbance is less in the state, but in the next 2 to 3 days, fresh western disturbance will be active in Haryana, Himachal as well as Uttarakhand. Due to which there will be significant changes in the weather. Along with changing weather patterns, light rain has also been predicted in Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag.
Dry weather all day long
The void will increase in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, which will reduce visibility. Along with this, the weather will remain dry throughout the day with increasing fog. A 1 to 2% drop in temperature will be seen in the morning and evening. The shivering will increase at night. There will be significant changes in the weather of Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan including the capital Delhi soon. Along with the drop in temperature, there is a possibility of increase in cold in these areas. Weather may change in many areas due to the activity of western disturbance. With this the intensity of rain will increase. The cold phase will begin with the activity of clouds and rain.
However, this time the possibility of more cold has been ruled out. The effect of El Nino can be seen. Due to which the cold will reduce. November is also called the season of cyclones. In such a situation, many cyclones may become active in the month of November. Along with the activity of the cyclone, this activity in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea will affect many states. Along with this, there is also a forecast of increase in cold along with heavy rain in these areas.
There is a possibility of strong thunderstorm and storm along with light rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. The weather will remain dry in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Goa, Maharashtra. With strong sunlight playing throughout the day, a drop in temperature will be seen in the morning and evening. The fog will increase. Visibility may decrease as the intensity of fog increases. Along with heavy rains, a warning of thunderstorm has also been issued in Tamil Nadu and interior parts of Karnataka and Kerala. With the beginning of the month of November, there will be heavy rains in these areas along with changes in other weather activities. Light to moderate rain is being predicted in many states on Diwali.
