Weather Update: Another western disturbance may again affect northwest India from February 3. - On Thursday also, light/moderate widespread rainfall is expected over Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan, which may extend from February 3 to 4.
- There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh and West Rajasthan.
- Meteorologists have also warned of strong surface winds with a speed of about 30-40 km/hr on Thursday, especially in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
- Despite intermittent changes in weather patterns, by February 5, most places over northwest India may experience continuous light to moderate rain or snowfall with thunderstorms and lightning.
