IMD Alert: Red-orange alert of heavy rain in 15 states, temperature will increase in 3 states, know IMD forecast

With this, due to the changed direction of the monsoon, the rainy season will start once again from north to south India. According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been declared in many parts of southern and eastern India. There is a possibility of intense rain in South Peninsular India for 4 days. According to the India Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of irregular torrential rains in the southern state of Kerala till September 10.

An orange alert was issued for Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod on Thursday on Thiruvonam day. While Ernakulam, Kottayam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad have been selected under the Yellow Alert. Apart from this, rain activities will increase over East Maharashtra from September 8. Goa may see rain again in many parts of Maharashtra. Less rain activities will be seen over Northwest India for 5 days. Rain deficit will be seen in Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh.

Another cyclonic circulation is very likely to form over East-central Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours. The effect of which will be visible after 48 hours. A Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over West Central Bay of Bengal. Due to which the rain will continue to wreak havoc in the southern state including East Northeast India. However, once again heavy rains will be seen in the central region.

According to the IMD, a low pressure area is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal by Wednesday and it may intensify later. Kerala may also receive heavy rains due to low pressure. However, IMD has not confirmed whether the low pressure will turn into a cyclone or not.

Heavy rain in some districts of UP

With the change in its direction of monsoon, we are witnessing a change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh. In some districts where there is a possibility of heavy and continuous rain. On the other hand, people in East Uttar Pradesh will remain troubled by the heat. There is little hope of relief for the people from the humidity and heat. Light rain alert has been issued in many areas of the capital Lucknow.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy rain in these areas till September 13. In fact, due to the effective weather activity and changing trough and cyclonic line along with monsoon over the Bay of Bengal and other parts of the country, the possibility of heavy rain has been issued in the southern parts.
