Alert today in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh today. On the other hand, heavy rain and thundershowers are very likely at isolated places over Bihar, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. Orange alert has been issued in these places. Light rain has been predicted over Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Telangana.

While on Thursday, 1st September, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep are very likely to receive isolated heavy rain and thundershowers. Apart from this, rain will continue over East India. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain and thundershowers at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

On the other hand, isolated rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur over the hill states of North East India, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic-West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. While isolated rain is likely over North India and Northwest regions of Leh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Telangana.
