As per the updates, light to heavy rain and thundershowers will occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two days. However, from Monday, some of these states will see heavy rains at isolated places. The IMD has predicted a drop of 3-5 degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures over many parts of northwest and central India over the next three days, followed by an increase of 2-4 degrees Celsius.
The winter season has started in the Indian region from Saturday. The weather service gave a warning. There is no chance of heatwave in any part of the country during the next 3-4 days.
