IMD Alert: Due to the western disturbance and its associated cyclonic effects, light to moderate rain was recorded in most parts of North India in the last 3-4 days. Due to this rain, the maximum temperature went below normal. However, now the weather has cleared.

IMD Alert: Due to the effect of western disturbance, rain occurred in many states in the past few days and the temperature dropped, which brought relief from the heat and the weather became pleasant, but now the period of heat is about to start in North India. Now there is no possibility of a U-turn in the weather. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is going to increase continuously in the coming days and there is no possibility of rain at the moment.

Heat will now haunt North India

At the same time, according to the weather forecasting agency, Skymet, due to the western disturbance and its associated cyclonic effects, light to moderate rain was recorded in most parts of North India in the last 3-4 days. Due to this rain, the maximum temperature went below normal. However, now the weather has cleared and the temperature is likely to rise again between 20 and 23 March.

Heat wave continues in many states

Talking about today’s weather, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions may persist in Odisha on March 18. Heat wave conditions are also likely to occur in Vidarbha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, North Telangana and North Interior Karnataka. Hot and humid weather may persist in parts of coastal Gujarat and North Interior Karnataka today for the next 5 days.

Chances of rain in these states

Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive rain with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds today on March 23, after which the intensity of rain may decrease. Arunachal Pradesh is likely to receive rain with thunderstorms and strong winds for the next 6 days, while heavy rain may occur at some places. Light to moderate rain may occur in parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
