Weather Update: The weather has changed once again in North India including Delhi-NCR. On Wednesday (January 29) evening, there was heavy rain in the capital Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will be cloudy on Thursday (March 30) and it may rain.
A Western Disturbance has become active from the neighboring country Pakistan, due to which the possibility of rain with thunderstorms has been expressed in the North West, North East and East areas of India for three days. Heavy rains may occur in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab between March 30 and April 1. Along with this, there is also a possibility of hailstorm.
Delhi to Jaipur flight diverted
Due to sudden rain on Wednesday evening in Delhi, planes had to wait for a long time for landing at the airport. Due to bad weather, the planes kept circling in the sky. Some flights had to wait for almost an hour for landing. Due to bad weather, 9 flights were diverted to Jaipur.
Yellow alert in Lucknow
The forecast of change in weather has also been expressed in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, due to western disturbance, strong wind will start blowing from Thursday afternoon or evening. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm on Friday (March 31). This situation is expected to persist till Saturday. Yellow alert has been issued in Lucknow for 31 March and 1 April.
Rain in Rajasthan on Thursday
Western Disturbance is going to affect Rajasthan first. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Rajasthan on Thursday. According to the forecast, there may be rain with thunder in East Rajasthan today. Along with the storm, there is a possibility of lightning and hailstorm at many places. There are chances of rain in the state on March 31 and April 1 as well.
