In the latest alert issued by IMD, there is a possibility of rain in the country’s capital New Delhi and many districts of adjoining states in the next two hours. According to the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, in and around NCR, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Barwala, Hansi, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh in the next 2 hours. It will rain with light to moderate intensity with thunderstorms.

Rain will continue in Madhya Pradesh
Heavy rain has also been predicted in many parts of Madhya Pradesh today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of rain in 9 districts of Madhya Pradesh. These districts include Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Vidisha, Burhanpur and Khandwa. The Meteorological Department has also sounded an alert for lightning in many parts of Mandla, Balaghat, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Burhanpur and Khandwa, due to which there has been increased concern among the people of the area.
Heavy rain warning in Odisha
Heavy rain continues in Odisha. On Thursday, the IMD warned of very heavy rains for the next three days. The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ for heavy to very heavy rain at some places in Boudh, Balangir, Bargarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts on Friday. Chances of rain have been expressed in some areas of Nayagarh, Angul and Subarnapur.
According to the bulletin, heavy to very heavy rains are also expected in Sambalpur Deogarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh on Sunday. According to the Met Office, it may cause landslides in sensitive hilly areas and waterlogging in low-lying areas and damage to roads and houses. Rain is expected in some parts of Malkangiri, Kendrapara Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
