IMD Rainfall Alert: In states like the national capital Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, the temperature has increased significantly. Even in the month of February, the heat like April-May is being felt.
The Meteorological Department has told that for the next five days, the maximum temperature in northwest, central and eastern India is going to be three to five degrees Celsius above the average. However, due to Western Disturbance, it will rain in many states in the Western Himalayan region for the next three days.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Maharashtra, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal remained between 35-37 degree Celsius. Maximum temperatures in northwest, central and east India were three to five degrees Celsius above normal. Whereas, light to moderate rains were recorded over Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal.
The Meteorological Department told how high the temperature will be
The Meteorological Department has said that there will be no major change in the maximum temperature during the next 24 hours in North West India. At the same time, after that there will be an increase in temperature by two to three degrees Celsius. There will be no change in Gujarat for the next two days, then the temperature will increase by three degrees.
On the other hand, if we talk about Maharashtra, there may be an increase of up to two degrees in temperature for the next three days. After that the temperature will not change for a few days. In the rest of the states, there is not going to be any significant change in the temperature for the next five days.
It will rain in these states
The Meteorological Department has told that a new Western Disturbance will knock, due to which the weather will change. Between 25-27 February i.e. for three days, it will rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of light snowfall. Whereas, light to moderate rains may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh from February 28 to March 2. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the Kashmir Valley on February 28 and in Himachal Pradesh on March 1.
