According to IMD, after 8% reduction in rainfall in June, 10% more rainfall has been recorded in July so far. The rains have started in Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar as well. Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Odisha till July 26. The Odisha Regional Office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in various districts of the state till July 26. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh and Sonpu districts today i.e. on 23rd July.

The IMD said on Friday that the Cyclonic Circulation in and around Jharkhand is now over North Odisha. The Special Commissioner of Odisha has asked districts on Orange and Yellow alert to be prepared for any incident of water logging or landslides in hilly areas. The district administration has been advised to keep monitoring the low-lying areas.

Here in the capital Delhi also, there is a continuous change in the weather. In fact, the drizzle will continue in the capital till Saturday. The weather remains pleasant with light showers with thunderstorms. At the same time, a drop of three to four percent has been recorded in the temperature. In the capital Delhi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 35 degrees Celsius.

Apart from this, light rain will also be seen in Haryana . The minimum temperature recorded is 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 31 degrees Celsius. Talking about Punjab , the process of rain in Punjab will continue. Due to the 3 system being active, many districts of Punjab can see rain. The minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is 32 degree Celsius.

According to IMD, the trough remained south of its typical location for most of July. This caused significant rain and flooding across central India. States with IGP including West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar Jharkhand received more than 40% deficient rainfall. Here Telangana has received 111%, Marathwada 73.0%, Saurashtra and Kutch has received 79.0% and Vidarbha has received 48.0% more rain. The entire country is receiving 10% more rain than normal. Till Friday, there is 50% rainfall deficiency in the Gangetic West Bengal, 51 per cent in Jharkhand, 45 per cent in Bihar, 61 per cent in East Uttar Pradesh and 52 per cent in West Uttar Pradesh.


Heavy rains will continue in Rajasthan , the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is 28 degree Celsius. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Rajasthan till July 30. While the weather will remain pleasant in Gujarat, a rain alert has been issued in Gujarat . Along with this, the IMD has issued a warning saying that the weather will remain pleasant in Gujarat till Friday. After July 28, there will be mild changes in the weather.

Due to the activation of 5 weather systems in Chhattisgarh , an alert of heavy rain has been issued in many districts. The weather will remain pleasant in some districts of the state, light showers may be seen. Apart from this, an alert of drizzle has been issued in more than 12 districts of Madhya Pradesh .

Talking about the hilly states, the weather will remain pleasant in Jammu and Kashmir-Leh Ladakh , a drop of 2 percent has been recorded in the temperature. Apart from this, light showers can also be seen in Himachal and Uttarakhand . However, the Meteorological Department has denied heavy rains.

On the other hand, due to rain in some districts of Uttar Pradesh today, moisture will dissolve in the weather. Apart from this, rain alert was issued in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh today. The same heavy rain warning has been issued in Assam Meghalaya Manipur Nagaland Tripura today.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain pleasant in Goa and Maharashtra, including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu . Orange and yellow alert of rain were issued in many districts of these states today. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has warned people to be careful. With strong winds, the possibility of house flashes and lightning has also been expressed.
