India Meteorological Department (IMD) says that the rain and snowfall will continue for a few more days. According to the department, a new western disturbance is going to hit the Himalayan areas on February 24. Due to this, there are chances of rain from next Saturday till Tuesday. Especially in the western areas, there may be light to moderate rain during this period.

According to the Meteorological Department report, there is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh between 24-28 February. There will also be snowfall in high altitude areas. Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places between February 26 and February 27. The situation in Arunachal Pradesh is also similar. Heavy rain is expected in some areas here today. People may also have to face snowfall. According to IMD, light to moderate rain may occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on February 23. There is also a possibility of snowfall and lightning along with thunderstorms.

Minimum temperature will be slightly above normal

According to IMD, between February 24 and 27, there will be scattered to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. During this period, the minimum temperature in many parts of Northeast India and Gujarat will be 2-4 degrees Celsius above normal. The department says that there will be no cold wave situation in any part of the country till next week. Apart from this, dense fog and cold day conditions are not expected in any part of the country next week. In such a situation, people will get relief from cold and may also feel slight warmth. The weather will remain pleasant especially in the morning.
