IMD Alert: Weather patterns change! Rain alert in these states, fog and cold in these states, temperature will fall

IMD Rainfall/Weather Update Today: Frequent changes are being seen in the weather across the country. On one hand, cold is showing its effect in many states including Delhi and UP with the drop in temperature, while on the other hand, rainy activities are continuing in the southern states.


The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light rain or snowfall in the higher reaches of the hilly states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Light to heavy rain may also occur in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Weather condition of UP-Delhi

The Indian Meteorological Department estimates that on November 1, the minimum temperature may be recorded at 16 degrees and the maximum temperature may be recorded at 32 degrees. Fog will be seen today. There will be no significant change in the temperature of Delhi in the coming days. There is no possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR, but the cold will increase and by November 6, fog is going to be seen in the morning.
In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, today the minimum temperature can be recorded at 17 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 33 degrees. From November 1, cold may increase in Varanasi, Ballia, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Fursatganj, Ghazipur, Fatehgarh, Basti, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Kanpur, Meerut, Aligarh and their surrounding areas.

There will be clouds, light rain in these states

According to IMD, today it will be cloudy in most areas of Jharkhand, light rain is also expected at some places. There will be fog in the morning and the effect of sunshine during the day. The wind will blow at a speed of five to six kilometers per hour. The weather will be clear in Ranchi, but the sky will be light cloudy in Dhanbad on November 1. Wind speed will also be faster than normal. There is a possibility of drop in temperature and feeling of cold. The sky will remain clear in Chaibasa, Jamshedpur and Seraikela areas on Wednesday.

Due to the activity of western disturbance, the weather patterns in the Himalayan regions may change. Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh may receive light rainfall in Uttarakhand. Snow may occur in areas at altitudes above 4000 metres. There are chances of change in the weather of Bihar after a week. There is a possibility of increase in cold as the temperature drops. The effect of light to moderate fog will remain in the foothill areas of the Himalayas. There is a possibility of gradual increase in fog and cold after a week.

Rain alert in these states till November 5

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the weather is forecast to remain dry in the states of North India, while rainy activities will be seen in the states of South India. Rain continues in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. From 03 November, a new round of rain will continue in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe and Interior South Karnataka which is going to continue till 05 November.

Light to moderate rain may be seen over Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, West Bengal, Northeast India and Sikkim. Light to heavy rain may also occur in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

According to the agency Skymet, today light to moderate rain is possible in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep along with heavy rain at one or two places. At isolated places in Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir. Light rain is possible.

Light to moderate rain at one or two places with isolated heavy falls is possible over South Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. Light to moderate rain may occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Coastal Karnataka, Light rain is possible at isolated places over Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir.
