IMD Weather Updates: Due to the newly forming western disturbance, there is a possibility of scattered light rain in Punjab, North Haryana, Chandigarh, North-Western Uttar Pradesh and Western Rajasthan on March 13.

IMD Weather Updates: With the arrival of March, the effect of heat is being seen in the weather. Indian Meteorology (IMD) has issued forecasts regarding the weather in states across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the Himalayan states. Due to western disturbance, there are chances of rain in western Uttar Pradesh including Delhi-NCR. Let’s take a look at the weather conditions of different states of the country.

The weather in the national capital Delhi remained pleasant on Monday morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius, which is one degree Celsius less than the average temperature of this season. According to IMD, the relative humidity in the capital was recorded at 87 percent at 8.30 am. The Meteorological Department has predicted mainly clear sky during the day on Monday and the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees Celsius.

There will be snowfall in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. There are chances of light rain at isolated places in Western Uttar Pradesh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The formation of another fresh western disturbance from the night of March 12 may affect the weather of northwest India.

It will rain in UP on March 13

There is a possibility of scattered light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on March 11. On March 13 and 14, there is a possibility of isolated thunderstorm and lightning with widespread rainfall over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Due to the newly forming western disturbance, there is a possibility of scattered light rain in Punjab, North Haryana, Chandigarh, North-Western Uttar Pradesh and Western Rajasthan on March 13.

There will be mild heat and humidity in the southern states

On one hand, rain and snowfall will affect the northern states of the country, while the effect of heat and humidity will be seen in the southern states. According to the Meteorological Department, hot and humid weather is likely to persist in Kerala and Mahe for the next two days and more. Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal will remain hot and humid during the next 3 days.
